The Superlux PRO-238MKII is a large diaphragm condenser vocal microphone featuring a 1-inch gold plated, 3µm thin film diaphragm that produces a warm, even sound and has a frequency response that extends from 20 Hzˆ20,000 Hz. The Superlux PRO238MKII delivers studio-grade quality that is ideal for live performance.
Superlux was the first manufacture to put a 1-inch large studio true condenser mic element into a handheld microphone. The response of this mic is flatter and more neutral than that of the CM-H8 series, but in a handheld package. (Sennheiser's e965 is a large 1 inch but has a narrower frequency response.)
